0 elliptical miles.  8 miles on the treadmill at about 6:30 pace and 60 min spin class.  When I first hurt my foot I couldn't pin point the pain but now it's obvious that the pain is coming from the 5th metatarsal (outside bone) of my left foot.  I am not sure if it's good or bad that I can now pin point the issue.  I will wait a few days before I try running again.

How I wish I was running outside today.  Got to the gym and the one stairmaster and ellipticals were full.  I said what the heck and started running on the treadmill.  Ended up running 5 in 30 mins at 1.5% incline and then 5.5 more (5:30 pace) in the next 30 mins, also at 1.5% incline.  My endurance is fine, it's just a question of whether my foot can hold up.  It's unclear whether running makes it worse, better, or just the same.  We'll see how it feels tomorrow.  Enjoy the sun!

Good workout today.  5.5 miles on treadmill at about 6:20 pace and 1.5% incline.  1 hour spin class then 3.5 more miles on treadmill.  The foot seems to be holding up.  I might consider taking it to the road in a couple of days.

15 miles with 1% incline on the treadmill in 1:35 (oddly I ended up on a treadmill that times out in 1:35).  Last 7 at about 6 min pace.  Felt ok.  The ankle is now more sore than the foot.  Go figure.

I tried running on the treadmill but every joint and muscle in my legs were shot.  My legs almost feel the same as if I ran a marathon.  I guess that can be expected after running 15 miles on the road after a 2 month road running hiatus.  Rather than I running I did my next favorite thing, i.e. hundreds of floors on the stairmaster and then the elliptical.

5 miles (8100 meters) on the rowing machine in 35 minutes.  I won't be doing that again for awhile because my hands now have blisters.  At least I don't need my hands to run.
