Ran  from Highland High to the top of Little Mountain and back.  I was planning/hoping to only go 20 (assuming my hamstring would hold up) but somehow Little Mountain moved a mile.  Averaged just under 7 min pace to the top and ended the run averaging 6:40.   I probably should have taken it easier up and pushed the downhill a little more.  Oh well.  There was probably a 20-25 mph headwind coming down that didn't help.  Towards the end everything was getting sore and achy but that was expected.  Fortunately there were no sharp pains. When I see my PT tomorrow I will insist that he scrape my hamstring because I think it helps.

Coolest thing I saw during the run, besides the colorful leaves, was a one legged cyclist cruising up Emigration at about 20 mph. His quad was at least as big as my waist.

Glad to see that it went well today. Good luck with the PT tomorrow. That's a great average pace going up Emigration and Little Mountain. Has Scott ever suggested you go see Dr. Eric Rawlin up in Clearfield for AMIT treatment on your hammy?

Yes he has. I inquired about it last week but found out that my insurance doesn't cover chiropractors. Have you seen him? I guess I am also a little skeptical that he just "activate" muscles but if it works it works.

From JPark on Sun, Sep 23, 2012 at 14:48:32 from 174.52.34.169

Yes. I went and saw him in May-June to help with my tibia-shin issue. It took a few treatments, but it worked and I'm definitely a believer. Call me if you'd like to chat about it. Scott and Dragonvulture can tell you about their experiences. I would highly recommend it. I want to say its about $50 per (1/2 hr) treatment without insurance. He's up in Clearfield which stinks. But, if you were serious about trying it, I'd encourage you to try and get into him ASAP and do a few treatments. I'd venture to say there is a very good chance he could get you feeling much better quickly.

Sounds like this run went better than last week. A good sign. Good work running uphill into the wind. I'm still putting it out there that you will feel close to 100% for STG--we would all love to see you crush your PR and win that race. You certainly don't have anything to prove with the year you've already had.

Nice run fritz.

I've seen that guy cycling before... Pretty impressive.

Nice run! I saw that guy too. Amazing! I saw you coming down the canyon. Sorry for running you off the road :0)

Great run Fritz! You know how to fix yourself with all the stairmaster and crosstraining work.

Impressive run. I have seen that guy a couple of times going up the canyon and I am always impressed.

Did you have anything to do with this?

"...authorities believed Baker was armed and has a product called dragon’s breath that shoots flames about 30 or 40 feet."

THAT is what you need for celebrating as you cross the finish line in St George

I had to take a detour on my way home because of this guy. I would have stopped and watched on the lawn like the rest of the neighbors if I knew I could have see this:

"After he was cuffed, he could be seen dancing around in place in a mini dress with a black sequin bodice and orange and pink fur trim."

I seriously thought they were filming another episode of "Touched by an Angel", which was shot in Utah in case you didn't know.
