Met Josh and Jon K. at the zoo.  Jon only wanted to run 10 so we did up and down 5 with him then Josh and I ran back up 3 because we wanted to run the last 3 a bit faster.  Surprisingly I felt pretty decent at the turnaround (mile 13) so my last 3, all aided, were 5:16, 5:04 and 4:55. I added .1 to make the 5k about 5:45. Average for run was 6:37.  73 miles for the week is the most I have run since September.  I guess I need to run a marathon.

Dude, I'd say so! I think you should start jumping in the racing scene again! What marathons are you thinking aobut this fall? St George? CIM?

At least those two for now and possibly a more casual race like Park City or Mid Mountain. How about you?

Wow! Nice job Fritz.

Ate you running anything at Des News? Maybe the half?

From Fritz on Sat, Jul 20, 2013 at 13:24:14 from 50.198.178.113

I am signed up for the half...but the full sounds like so much more fun. you are running the full, right? I hope you have a great race.

From Rob Murphy on Sat, Jul 20, 2013 at 13:45:32 from 24.10.249.165

You should do the half in my humble opinion. Then find a marathon in a couple months.

Yeah, I'm doing the marathon. Actually looking forward to it in a weird way.

Great run Fritz and great week! You're quickly coming into race form. It was fun to see you in Emigration this morning. Best of luck in the half Wednesday (or full if you're so tempted to do it:)

From Trevor Baker on Sat, Jul 20, 2013 at 17:23:12 from 174.27.209.82

Not going to lie, I'm pretty intimidated by the marathon as I've never attempted it yet, if things are fairly consistent and I can get 4 twenty plus mile long runs in, I might give it a go. I'll likely try a smaller marathon, like Morgan or maybe St. George. All depends how the next month goes... Good luck at Des News. May see you on the starting line, or may see you coming in as a spectator. We'll see.

Great week, Fritz! And great run today! Fritz the Destroyer is almost back! Can't wait.
