Road from home and met up with Adam H. at the bottom of BCC.  Good pace to the top and it is always a fun time coming down.  Legs were a little tired from yesterday but held up fairly well. Totaled 53 miles at about 16 mph.  The biggest achievement of the day was leaving the house before 8, which isn't common for a Sunday.

early riser!

putting in some big rides - at least the weather is pretty good for cycling right now.

guessing you probably aren't still planning to run UV 1/2 this weekend?

From Fritz on Mon, Jun 04, 2012 at 11:18:06 from 65.116.116.6

Nope. :( At this point I just wish I could run a mile let alone 13 fast. Yesterday I even started looking up road bike races.

Realistic odds,

UV Half = 0%

Ragnar = 25%

Wahsatch Steeplechase = an optimistic 50%

The steeplechase would be the biggest bummer (no offense to Ragnar) so I am remaining optimistic about that.

bummer for sure. while we remain optimistic about ragnar, james and i were talking about alternate possibilities yesterday. do you have anyone in mind? we were thinking kevin smith, and if he's not available...kim smith.

From Fritz on Mon, Jun 04, 2012 at 15:57:49 from 65.116.116.6

I just sent an email to Darrell letting him know my situation and asking him if we can ask Kevin. I will let you know.
