Ran south today through Millcreek. I was stopped by a volunteer who was leading a search for an old man named Fritz Helland. I thought I might get lucky considering we have the same name but I didn't find him. :(

Cross training and hamstring PT at the gym. Complete waste of a morning because I spent two hours watching a guy try to fix a problem he obviously knows nothing about. And of course it is still not fixed. At least I got in some good quad stretching.

Ran outside instead of going to the gym. Quite the achievement for me. Ran north through the U, up to the hospital and winded back through the neighborhoods.  I am wear testing some Nike Pegasus which feel like they weigh about a pound each.  I can't believe I used to wear shoes like that all of the time.

Averaged just under 7 min pace.

Cross training at the gym.

Costume and room decorating contests at work today so basically nothing was accomplished today. Everyone in our room is dressed as Dilbert and we have lots of comics and equations on the walls.

This sounds familiar.

Ran through the U, up to the hospital and back along Foothill.  Many of the roads don't have a shoulder or a sidewalk so I spent a lot of time running in and out of the gutters and over the curbs. Probably not the safest route but it keeps me on my toes.

Cross training at the gym.  Mixed in very difficult two minute intervals at max (which equates to least) resistance.

Nice run with Jake, ACorn, Bryan and Jon. A good crew, perfect temps, and great fall colors. Longest run since SGM (yes, I have been slacking) so I am leaning towards just running the half in Japan.

Brunch at Ruth's for Andrea's Birthday afterwards. She was born at the same time
