Last longish run before CIM with Nate, Jake and James out on the JRP/Legacy Parkway Trail. We did 8 easy going north then started our tempo. After one mile into the tempo we turned around for the 9 miles back. There was a bit of a head wind going back but nothing terrible. Everything considered, we lucked out again on the weather. The plan was to start at around 5:45 and progressively work down to the teens. Splits: 5:47, 5:37, 5:31, 5:28, 5:27, 5:24, 5:19, 5:14, 5:15, 5:14 Pretty much went as planned for a change :)

Nice and disciplined. Sorry I missed - especially with James showing up.

Yeah, I didn't know James was coming. See you at the turkey trot.

"What does stoke mean?"

Real solid run this morning!

I've got the Kinvaras in my jeep for you, Josh.

Hey Jake. Are you doing the cold turkey run ? Not sure when I will see you next. Family cold today :(

You seem to have had a really good build up this go around. You usually just stair step for 3 months before going out and winning Marathons. Pretty excited to see how you all do at CIM.

Good call on staying away Josh, I didn't want to have to wear a germ mask. I'm going to Phoenix for the WARM turkey run but I'll get those shoes to you.

Thanks Fritz for letting Josh and I use your blog to exchange emails. Much more convenient than using Gmail.

Killer workout Fritz. You are ready for a great race at CIM.

Glad my blog could be useful for something.

@Rob- a higher running/stairmaster mile ratio should help, right? I think it should.

Excellent workout, Fritz!
