JAAF run for the first time in....5 weeks or so. It was good to be back out there. I don't feel very efficient but I guess that goes with not running for 3 weeks. Hamstring exercises at the gym afterwards.

Good to see you feeling a bit better. I'm really impressed with your commitment to cross training and overall fitness. I wonder if there is a highest-miles blog/site for the stair master?
Have you ever thought about contacting the stair master people and getting them to sponsor you? You could run the add campaign: "Climb your way to winning the marathon!" I'm just being dumb now

Good idea. I will definitely contact them about a sponsorship.
Have fun a Ragnar. I was supposed to run the ultra version so I am not terribly disappointed that I am missing it. :) I just didn't think running 12 miles at midnight, 7 AM and 2 or 3 in the afternoon sounded very fun.
