First real run since August 5th.  Met Jon Kotter at the zoo, ran 7 up Emigration, met up with Nate Ogden then we ran back down.  Both of them are now my neighbors so they will have to teach me a thing or two about running fast.  Jon and I talked a lot about marathons and we joked that based on Nate's 5k time (13:51) he should be running in the low teens.

Finished with 16 miles, 2 afterwards on the stairmaster then hamstring PT.

Good job. I hope your back in full action for STG. Would love to see you hammer it.

I would say I am coming back. :) A 7 min pace won't exactly cut it but at least I can stay on my feet for more than 15 miles. Looks like both of you have great runs today. 'Tis the season for pre race long runs I guess.

Progress! Glad to hear your were able to get in a longerish run.

Good to hear the run went well. Pretty fast company! How did your hamstring feel? How does it feel now? Hoping you've turned the corner.

From Fritz on Sat, Sep 01, 2012 at 21:33:04 from 76.27.28.67

Felt fairly good going uphill but still can't really pick it up going down. I am just glad those guys were taking it easy or else I would have probably ruined it again.

It's feeling good now although I suspect some soreness in the morning. Might be a half run/half xt day tomorrow.

Any group runs planned for Monday?

We were considering a 12-mile run in Provo Canyon and the Bonneville Shoreline Trail if it's not too muddy. I am still flexible. What would work for you? 7AM start?

From Fritz on Sun, Sep 02, 2012 at 13:19:34 from 65.100.192.74

That would work for me but I prefer something a bit longer to justify the longer drive. Jake, Do you have any grandiose plans? I will send an email.
