Felt sick the last few days but I think I am back on track. 6:31 pace

Isn't it annoying to have to run behind cars because you know they won't look both ways before pulling out of a driveway or intersection? Sometimes I want to run in front just so they get the point but then I realize I would be the who would die if they didn't see me.

oh, i totally agree! i just naturally run behind cars now because i have had too many close calls. it's crazy how little attention some people are paying as they drive. some don't even look at all. they come shooting down the street with their head turned in the opposite direction, and they never even look the other way! whooo. vent! :)

anyway, nice run today. glad you are feeling better.

On occasion I do run in front but only if I know I will have time to get out of the way. I usually just throw up my hands when they hit their breaks but maybe I should start hitting the hood or using a single finger. :)

Anyway, nice job at the race on Saturday. I knew your sub 6 min 5k was coming soon considering that your BWs are intense and super fast.

As runners we move toward oncoming traffic. Generally, cars turning right off of side streets are looking to their left to check for oncoming cars. They never seem to look to the right, even pedestrians should be their first priority. I generally run behind cars, but periodically I'll run in front of them. I've slapped the hood of a few cars that thought it was clear to go. Jerks.
