Beautiful run from Ruby's Inn into Bryce Canyon.  I ran to 3 different look out points but unfortunately I didn't have my camera.  At ~8,300 ft with probably 1,500 ft of climbing I felt good about the effort but kept it fairly relaxed. Averaged ~ 7:06 for the run with the first couple close to 8. This place would be perfect for a spring or fall training camp.

That sounds like an awesome run. Were you able to run along the rim trail, or was it too snowy?

No trail running this time but I imagine that would be an awesome route. It snowed about 4 inches yesterday and the kinvaras aren't exactly equipped for snow running. What shoes did you wear in the buffalo run? I am thinking I will wear my La Sportiva Crosslites which have great traction and only weigh 9 oz.

Yeah that would be a perfect shoe for those trails. I wore a pair of Solomon Speedcross for that race last year.

Amazing scenery down there.I have run Bryce Canyon 1/2 a couple times and hiked the rim trail it never ceases to amaze me. Way to get some altitude training in.

Sounds lake some great running. I'm jealous.
