Ran around Sugar House then ended up at the Highland track for a mini mini workout of 4 x 400 at about 70 seconds.  Pales in comparison to Riley's 31 at around 67 but it's a start.  All this talk about workouts/practice reminds me of Iverson's famous words of wisdom.

"We are in here talking about practice. Not, a game, not a game, we are in here talking about practice....what are we talking about?  Practice? We ain't talking about the game.  We are talking about practice."

Did you wear a lycra speedsuit? If not, expect those 70s to drop down to 55s once you wear the appropriate attire.

I remember endless arguing on letsrun about whether Iverson could run a 4:20 mile when he was in his prime.

If he never did it I am sure he could with not much training. That guy was lightning fast and an unbelievable athlete. It's too bad that doesn't translate to life/personal finance skills.

I was always in the "he could probably do it" camp. Like you said, a ridiculous freak of athleticism and tough as nails.

But I guess that doesn't necessarily mean you are smart enough to NOT buy 25 cars and gamble your $$$ away recklessly. Its a shame really.

Fritz, nice run. 4x400 is a good, quick turnover workout to get your legs primed for Ogden. And I always loved that Iverson quote, classic.
