Teena, thanks for posting. Is KT tape available at sports stores? There is some pain in the ankle but most of the pain is in my foot when I put weight on my toes or forefoot. It was bearable but even standing up on bike was uncomfortable. I do think it is improving ever so slightly however, so I am remaining optimistic.

Fritz - I enjoyed myself in Austin Saturday but I really missed the SLTC 5K. I'll be there for the 10k though.
I won't train for a big race in January again. It's not like I need to go to Texas to face top competition - with you, Dennis, Andrew, and Jamal mixing it up right here in Utah.

Yes. You can pick up a roll at Sports Authority for about $13.00. The taping job should last several days.

Also ... one leg balancing exercises and the wobble board are great exercises to strengthen the peroneal muscles after the pain subsides some.
(Of course, if this is what you are dealing with.)
