9 miles on the elliptical in one hour. Not sure if I could go much faster. It was quite tiring.

Do you enter your bike miles as training miles?

I haven't lately but I did a few times last year when I couldn't run at all. Probably a sin, right? :) Obviously the miles and effort don't equate so I was counting 1 cross training mile for every 5 on the bike, which really isn't an accurate reflection of effort or time because a 100 mile bike is much harder and takes much longer than a 20 mile run. Just considering time, 1 mile of running is more like 2.5 flat miles on a bike. I suspect some bloggers are even opposed to including elliptical or stairmaster miles. In my opinion they aren't that much different and I promise that doing 550 floors on the stairmaster in an hour is harder than running 10, 6 min miles.

550 floors is nutz! I go backcountry skiing sometimes and it feels like I'm workin a stair master when climbing some peaks.
It's kind of hard to keep track of, but I think I'm gonna just log running miles and write down my biking for reference. I agree that biking is sometimes way harder than the supposed running equivalent, but I like to ride my bike sometimes, so I guess my mileage will suffer. Thanks for the advice!
