Nice job. Nice to get on a treadmill that's more support and absorbs the contact from such a hard run yesterday. Your motivation drives quick recovery nice work.

Hey, I wanted to write a quick note and let you know how much I enjoy reading your blog. I started running a few years ago and started logging my runs on FRB last year. This year, after I ran Salt Lake Half, my dad asked if I saw who won the marathon. He said that he knew you from the Cottonwood Country Club. His name is Brad and he was the golf pro there for many years. Anyway, after that I saw you were on the blog and have enjoyed reading about your amazing running career since. Thank you for inspiring me, and I'm glad that your hamstring is better!

Thanks Kory. I like to think I am getting smarter with age. :)
shellburns- thanks for introducing yourself. Of course I remember your dad! I basically spent every day at the Cottonwood Club for many summers and participated in the golf program that your dad organized and taught. Those were some of my fondest memories. How is he and your brother (Brad?) doing? I think I will be forever indebted to your dad for teaching me the game and etiquette and for not kicking me and friends off the course every time we were caught searching for golf balls, cutting in front of groups, not raking the sand traps, etc. Some of the managers at the Club had no tolerance for anything but I always liked your dad because he was so nice to us. I hope he is doing well.
