Wow. I really didn't think I would feel that bad. I guess I need to mix in more speed work because my legs were sucking air just after the first mile and they never felt better. The wind coming back also didn't help, and neither did the Dunkin' Donuts coffee before the race. 4:59, 5:20, 5:32

Warmed up and cooled down with Jason, Anthony, James, Nate and Dan.  Congrats to Anthony, Jason and little Pachev (in crocs) for 1,2,3. It was still a good workout/rust buster despite feeling lousy.

i can't believe it's already time for the winter series again.

nice job -- the 5k always feels bad, right? you have been putting in some great mileage lately.

Thanks Allie. The winter series can't be the same without you and James.

I wish I could learn to like 5Ks. To make matters worse another Pachev half my age with crocs passed me mile 2.75.

Not bad at all coming off of surgery late last year and mainly base work. I'm sure by the time SLC Marathon rolls around you'll be running a full mary almost as fast. By the way, I'm almost a convert to the stair machine.

Awesome! I have always hated those winter races out there. Flat, windy, and cold.
