Out and back dirt road run in Montana at about 6,800 ft.  This road is dangerous because it is 18 miles to the freeway but at some point on every run I have to decide when enough is enough and turn around.

You are getting plenty of dirt-road miles. Nice run!

Hope you're having fun!

You should decide to turn around BEFORE 18 miles.

I agree with Rob. 36 miles is too many.

Dude those Nike shoes that you ran the draper days 5K in are a $150 bones!! Want to get a pair. What do you think? Are they worth the money?

Ben and Fritz,

Are those the same shoes that 90% of the Olympic athletes are wearing?

From Fritz on Wed, Aug 08, 2012 at 20:09:44 from 74.82.68.144

Yes, same shoes. I had the lightweight trainers that I wouldn't pay $150 for. I do want to try out the racer version that the marathoners will be wearing. Supposedly they are putting the Flyknit upper on the Lunar Racer sole.
