Received a cortisone shot in my knee yesterday and now my knee is even worse or more sore. I think/hope this is just a temporary flare-up caused by the shot.

Fritz when I had my shot it hurt like crazy for 3 days after, then the pain went away. Matt Poulsen also told me no exercising either to prevent any flair ups in those days also. So be careful! Praying that this will work for you! Also I had some treatments done by Dr. Rawlin out in Syracuse and I am now seeing the benefits of it. Talk to Scott Keate it might be worth a look.

I'm with Ben. When I had my 2 cortisone shots for ITBS it hurt like Hades for DAYS! The additional fluid to irritate the bursa was painful. Enjoy your endless circles in the pool and let that shot do its magic for a week or more. It may take a while, but it will be worth it...eventually.
