Great run down in Orem with Matt, Scott, Mike, Josh, Zak, and Reed. We did the standard 10 up and down from Cemetery Field in Orem. At the turnaround up South Fork Canyon we started the tempo. Ended up with 8 tempo splits at 4:54, 4:57, 4:53, 5:16, 5:04, 5:04, 5:10, 5:05 (average of 5:04). It was great to feel good after a few weeks of less than successful long runs. Thanks to the guys for pushing me along.

@Trevor- yes, it should be an epic throw down with at least 10 in contention.

@Andrea - if you don't mind, I will answer the question you posted on Matt's blog. Zak, the Zak James, is a former SUU runner who has been hanging low for the last 10 years. The guy is a machine and although SGM will be his first marathon there is no reason to think he couldn't win it with a time in the teens.
