Easy run through Holladay.  Sadly I noticed that after 20 years the TGIF's has shut down at the corner of Highland and 48th South.   I remember the days of hanging out at that mall, playing in the arcade, and throwing pennies off the balcony.  What are kids supposed to do now?  Play their Wii's at home?  Give it a few years and businesses will come back.

They were going to stay open through the construction. Now that that has failed I wonder if that is why they decided to shut down. I wonder if Macy's will close too.

I hope someone picks up that construction project. It is an eye-sore.

Somebody will have to take on the project eventually. I would guess that Macy's won't close considering how few department stores are left in the area; but I could be wrong.

There must huge upside in the long term investment. It's too bad I don't have a hundred million or so lying around.
