I think we should see if SGM would support this next year or we could just do it informally. Do you place top 5 or only 3? Placing 3 I think Utah County would have won this year (4,5,8) but if we had Justin I think SLC could have taken it :)

I think its likely that an actual XC race is going to be on the USATF circuit next fall. So, we could definitely do the county teams matchup.
Although it would probably be more interesting just scoring a marathon that way since most of us care about the marathon a lot more.

That would be a ton of fun. I am sure you are all thinking of the potential rosters if everyone were to show up (SLC = Krong,Smythe,Krah,Hales,Baker,VdeK,Park,Kotter,Jameson,Erekson...). Of course all counties have some ringers if people were to come out of retirement.

Fritz, yeah Utah county would've outscored Davis by one point at STG.
Utah: 4,5,and 8 = 17
Davis: 1,7,and 10 = 18
Not sure who the third SLC guy was; though 2nd and 3rd is a nice start.
If we scored more than three though, Davis is screwed! I have no clue who would've been next after Jason.

World Champs Half Marathon and Marathon run teams of up to 5 and score 3. I think that would be the fairest scoring format.
