Rather than running in the rain and snow by myself, I decided instead to run 20 miles in the cozy confines of the gym on the treadmill with my friends who I don't talk to.  First and last miles were fairly boring but the rest was just a blur.  Someday I might try bringing headphones to see if that makes it more interesting.  The last time I wore them was about 12 years ago and I couldn't stand it.

Averaged around 6:45 for the run.  Hip exercises afterwards.

Great job on the SLCTC 10K!

Man, I can't see how you're able to do it without headphones! They seem to make my TM runs so much easier. If you do decide to try them, I highly recommend the Sony street style muff ones that wrap around the back of the head (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Street+Style+Behind-the-Neck+Headphones/9236258.p?id=1218072945062&skuId=9236258). They're relatively cheap, sound good, last a long time, and stay in place while you're running. I don't like buds because when you sweat a lot and they get wet, it causes this weird vacuum effect with your ears and you end up not being able to hear your music...That's been my experience anyways. Nice long run BTW.

20 on the treadmill might be more impressive than your solo 32 minute 10K yesterday. Jeez man... hardcore!

I commend you on your treadmill work I hate running on mine at home or the gym. At least at the gym I can go on the tm or 1/10 mile track not sure which is worse.

I talk to the treadmill, it is my friend. Usually a one sided conversation.
