Great run with Matt and Spencer from Highland High to the top of Emigration and back.  Despite the early start it wasn't too cold.  Matt and I were just planning to run 20 but we couldn't resist getting to the top of Little Mountain.  We took a quick break, took in the views then headed back down the canyon.  We kept it at a conversational pace the entire run and averaged about 6:55 (7:20 up, 6:20ish down) with ~1,800 ft of climbing.  It was the perfect way to start the weekend and I have to thank Matt and Spencer for making the trip. Watch out, Matt is getting in great shape and Spencer is improving leaps and bounds after taking several years off.

Bonus points for making the climb up to little mountain! Good run - how do you like the Rides?

They felt great and the flashy pink is an added bonus. They feel a lot like the Mirages with just a tab bit more cushion. I was done at 20 in the week's past but I think the added cushion really helped the hip hold up today. I think I will keep wearing them them on all of my long runs until I get closer to a marathon. Looks like your training camp is well under way. Nice workout today.

i really like them for long runs like you did today, the extra cushion saves some pounding on the downhill

Thanks for the run this morning Fritz. Beautiful scenery and great conversations. I had a blast. Your shoes were stylin!

Sorry I missed you guys this morning (I was pressed for time). Excellent long run again. That's no easy walk in the park going up Emigration.

I've been using some Ride 5's for awhile and like them. They have a pretty flashy color scheme too, but probably not as cool as your 6's.
