| Hillier run than usual for a Sunday. Josh and I ran through the Aves, up Virginia, down 11th, up City Creeek and down the trail. Totaled 15.5 miles and about 1,400 ft. of climbing. Perfect weather and time of year for a run. Finished at the gym with 2 crosstraining and stretching.

As we were running the basketball players were doing a two mile workout. Coach Krystkowiak said hi to us as we lapped his players.

| AM: crosstraining and a few miles on the TM
PM: 1 mile TM warm up and boot camp. Crunches, lunges, several band exercises and lots of planks. Doesn't bode well for tomorrow morning.

| AM: Easy 9 miles along Wasatch Blvd. I think it is glove weather.
PM: 6.6 miles around the neighborhoods in Cottonwood Heights. It's always very exciting to run on roads never run.

| Another and probably last run down in Orem before SGM. The temps and crisp air couldn't have been better. The group grew this week to 13 (Scott, Matt, Nate, Josh, Zak, Mike, Brandon, Chad, Reed, Chad's friend and Jeff), which made it easy for us to push aside the traffic going up the canyon. This time we ran up and down 8 miles with a two mile cool down on the grass. Splits for the eight were 5:18, 5:14, 5:08, 5:09, 5:13, 5:10, 5:20, 5:13 for an average of 5:13. Slowing the pace from last week felt much better. My only regret for the run was that I mistakenly wore blue when of course I should have been sporting the RED. The whole crew is looking well tuned for the big day in two weeks.
