Workout with Jason and JP. 2x2mile around the perimeter of SHP (5:25/5:20,5:25/5:16) then 1 mile (5:03). My hamstring is a bit sore so I didn't want to make it worse by presssing too hard. With some rolling, stick and massage it should be fine.

The new perimeter loop is probably pretty close to 2 miles exactly?
I think I saw you guys starting your warmup as I was jogging up to HHS.

Unfortunately not quite 2. It is closer to 1.9 miles. If you try it don't take the turn at Sizzler wide. This Jason guy from Penn State has been in Utah for quite awhile. Good to finally connect with him. He ran a 14:20 in college but doesn't take running too seriously now.

That's what I figured, a little under 2... a pretty good tempo loop, not quite as hard as the inner road loop, but you still get some ups and downs. I'm still mad that they didn't make it a woodchip path when they upgraded, though.

I think an untapped/unused/no traffic tempo loop is at Wasatch Lawn. Looks like just over 1 mile but I haven't done it recently with my garmin. Just a bit hillier than your loop and less hilly than SHP.

The tool wouldn't let me trace the outer loop.
