Casual run through the U, Research Park, past the zoo and back along Wasatch. Averaged ~7:20. Apparently I timed it well but the weather was perfect for the run and now it is a white out.

Slowly but surely I am learning to ease off on these slow runs and I am feeling a lot better.  I also think I am becoming more accustomed to running more consistently.

Today is bittersweet because after just over 6 years I am leaving Overstock! I never dreamed I would work here this long.

As odd as it sounds the one thing I might miss the most is stopping at the 7-Eleven on 45th every day. If you have ever met Tami, the best employee ever, you will know.

What I won't miss: <200 emails a day, daily drama (you have to work here to know what I mean), 6 hours of meetings every day...and a few other things I will have to write after I leave :)

What I will miss: nice view from the office (next office will be in a warehouse), ~15-20 of my friends, the Keurig...

no mention of a move in your post, so assume you are staying in SLC?

always exciting to start something new. good luck.

Yes, fortunately. A couple of years ago my friend approached me but at that time they only had operations in Phoenix I didn't want to move there. Only downside is if I run from work I will be running through industrial parks and Pepsi Bottling, not Coke, is across the street. Uintah Brewing is across the street too but I am not yet sure if that will be good or bad.

Congrats on the move. What is the company? I'm more west than you (5500 W) but maybe we could meet up sometime for some industrial park running.

Justin, The company is Air Comm. We sell Motorola Solutions products, our own line of radios, install communication system and are getting into public safety equipment. The building we just bought is at 3366 West 1820 South but we won't move over there for at least a month. Until then I will be right at California and 215. It would be great to meet up for some flat industrial park runs. Would you be up for morning, lunch or afternoon runs? I like to get things done before work but could be flexible. Tomorrow is a run at Riverton on the JRP. I copied you on the email.
